Yes. With the LetterAgent connector added to Claude, you describe the letter in conversation and Claude drafts it, reads it back for your review, and gets a per-letter quote with a verified page count. You approve the exact price, pay through a one-time Stripe Checkout link, and it's printed and mailed to any US or Canadian address.
Claude treats mailing as a series of explicit confirmations: it asks, you answer, and nothing moves forward on an assumption. The pattern:

A typical exchange: disputing a medical bill with the billing department:
You: "I need to mail a dispute letter to Riverside Medical Billing, PO Box 880, Dayton, OH 45401. They're billing me $214 for a March 3 visit that my insurance already covered: claim number RX-55201. Ask them to correct it and confirm in writing within 30 days. My address is 9 Elm Court, Dayton, OH 45402."
Claude: [Shows the full drafted letter.] "Here's the draft. I kept it firm and factual, and referenced the claim number and the 30-day request. Does the wording work, or should I soften or sharpen anything?"
You: "Sharpen the last paragraph a little."
Claude: [Shows the revised letter and the addresses as they'll print.] "Updated. Here's the final text and the addresses: please confirm both are correct, especially the PO box."
You: "Confirmed."
Claude: [Shows the preview and the quote.] "One page, and here's the exact price. If you approve, I'll prepare the payment link."

Claude: [Provides the Stripe Checkout link; after payment:] "Paid and submitted. The letter is being printed and mailed, and I'll keep the sent text on file if you ever need to reference it."
Because the failure mode of AI-mailed letters is a wrong address, and the quote-approve-pay pattern is the guardrail. Claude can't knock on a door to check a street number, so it makes you the verifier: you eyeball the address in the preview, you approve the exact quoted text, and you pay through Stripe yourself. No step fires without your say-so, which means a hallucinated address dies in the preview instead of on an envelope.
Two details worth knowing:
Set the tone before the quote. "Firm but polite," "formal," "warm": tell Claude up front. The price locks to the exact approved text, so wording changes after the quote mean a new quote.
Keep the sent text. Ask Claude to save a copy of what went out. For disputes, cancellations, and anything with a deadline, having the exact sent wording on record is half the value of mailing it in the first place.
Letters only: no packages, postcards, inserts, or return envelopes. Recipients must have US or Canadian addresses; you can send from anywhere. For proof of delivery, request the registered option (US Certified Mail or Canada Registered Mail) before the quote is generated. And as with any AI assistant, Claude never touches your payment: the Stripe Checkout link keeps your card details out of the conversation.
