Mail wedding invitations or holiday cards by sending each recipient their own letter as a separate job: LetterAgent prints and mails them individually, and your AI assistant can personalize each one (names, plus-ones) from your guest list. Wedding invitations go out 6–8 weeks before the day; holiday cards in early December. Letters only: no postcards, no inserts.
One recipient, one letter, one job. You give your AI assistant the guest list, and it sends a separate personalized letter to each household: names, plus-ones, even table assignments swapped in per recipient. There's no mail-merge file to build and no envelopes to stuff; the assistant handles the personalization and LetterAgent handles the printing and mailing. Double-check the address list first: the envelope is a double-window design, so the recipient's address shows through the window exactly as you provide it: a typo in your list becomes a typo on the envelope.
Wedding invitations go out 6–8 weeks before the day; save-the-dates go out 6–8 months before, with just the date and the city. Holiday cards belong in mailboxes in early December: mail the first week of the month, not the week of Christmas. Set the RSVP deadline 3–4 weeks before the event: you need the cushion for mail to travel both ways and for stragglers.
Everything a guest needs and nothing they don't: the date, time, venue with address, dress code, and how to RSVP. Since no reply card can be included, print the RSVP method in the letter: a phone number, a wedding-website URL, or a QR code. If plus-ones or meal choices matter, ask for them in the letter text. And order a few extras: there is always a Henderson family you forgot.
Yes: always mail the first one to your own address before the rest go out. It's the only way to see exactly what your guests will see: how the letter looks printed, whether the address sits correctly in the window, and whether the QR code actually scans off paper. One test letter costs you one job; a typo mailed to two hundred households costs you a reprint of two hundred jobs.
Letters only: no postcards, no inserts, no confetti, no reply cards. If your design depends on a separate details card or a return envelope, fold that information into the letter itself. Colour printing is available, so the letter can still look like an invitation rather than a memo, but it's one sheet of 8.5×11 in a window envelope, so design for that.
